​Dr. Lana Keating - Owner/ Veterinarian
Dr. Lana Keating graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1998.  Originally from Saskatchewan, she has been at the Parkland Veterinary Hospital since 2001.  Lana has a special interest in dermatology and ophthalmology.  She also enjoys laser surgery, soft tissue surgery and therapeutic/rehabilitative laser therapy. 
​Lana lives on an acreage with her husband and 3 children.  Her pets include dogs and cats as well as chickens and horses.  Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys travelling, being outdoors, and volunteering in the community.

Dr. Jan Anderson - Veterinarian 
Dr. Jan Anderson graduated from WCVM in 1982.  She worked primarily in Calgary as a small animal vet at different city practices, the Calgary Humane Society, and Calgary Animal Services before owning her own practice from 2001 to 2013.  Lately, Dr. Anderson has been doing Locum relief work in Alberta and "snowbirding" to Lake Havasu City in Arizona to work in a clinic there.  She recently moved to Gull Lake and plans to settle into regular employment here at PVH and is looking forward to working with our many wonderful clients and pets.  Dr. Anderson has 5 grown children, and is very active with hiking, cycling, kayaking and playing soccer.

    Dr. Mirjam Stigter -  Veterinarian 
​     Dr. Mirjam Stigter graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.  She grew      up on a farm east of Gull Lake and has recently moved to the Bentley area with her husband.
     After practicing at a mixed animal clinic for a year, she is excited to join the team at Parkland                 Veterinary Hospital.  Her veterinary interests include preventative medicine in all species.  In her         spare time, Mirjam enjoys being outdoors, spending time time with her husband, going for walks,       and biking.

​ Tim Keating - Owner/ Practice Manager​
  Tim Keating is the Practice Manager and co-owner of Parkland Veterinary Hospital.  Tim is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the veterinary hospital in partnership with his wife Dr. Keating.  Tim has an MBA from Athabasca University and prides himself on helping the Parkland Vet Hospital team achieve its goals by offering excellent care for pets and quality service.

Kimberley Mercer - RVT
Kim has worked at PVH since 2013 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist.  She graduated from Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in 2008.  She and her husband Aaron have a pit bull named Hades and a cat named Montana.  In her spare time Kim enjoys golfing, camping, travelling with Aaron and hiking with her dog Hades.

​Krista Stannard  - RVT
Krista graduated from NAIT in 1996 and started working  for PVH in 2018.  Krista lives in Sylvan Lake with her husband Todd and 2 daughters.  In the summer, they spend  time with their two French Bulldogs at Gull Lake , and in the winter,  they can be found  running the kids to figure skating and school sports.

Darian Thiessen - RVT​
Darian graduated from Olds College with her RVT diploma in February 2020.  She did her practicum here at PVH and was then hired onto the team.  She currently lives in Red Deer, and loves to hike in her free time as well as read books and watch Netflix with her cats Goku and Veggie.

Megan Regnier - Receptionist
Megan has lived in Sylvan Lake since she was 5.  She graduated from The Academy of Learning in January 2017, where she completed the Medical Office Assistant program and the Veterinary Administration Assistant program.  Megan did her practicum here at Parkland Vet and became an official employee in March 2017.  
She has a 7 year old Pom x Chihuahua named Boss.  Outside of work, Megan enjoys camping, game nights, and spending time with friends and family.  
Currently Megan is on maternity leave since Emmaleigh Mae was born March 13, 2020.

Alexandra Pattison - Registered Veterinary Technician 
Alex graduated from Lakeland College in 2015 and  started working part-time for PVH in 2018.  
She lives west of Sylvan Lake on an acreage with her husband and two children.  Alex and her family enjoy camping, hiking,  and fishing with their dogs - Beau, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and Anna, a Corgi.

Carole Cowie - Veterinary Medical Receptionist
Carole graduated with honors from the Veterinary Medical Receptionist program at Olds College in 2018.  She did her practicum at PVH and worked here  casual and part time before taking a FT maternity leave position.  Carole and her husband Peter live outside of Sylvan Lake with their dog Dixie.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, camping and crafting.

Jillian Brownlee - Veterinary Medical Receptionist
Jillian has been with PVH since 2015.    She graduated from Olds College as a Veterinary Medical Receptionist in 2009 and has also earned an LPN degree from Red Deer College.  She currently lives in Red Deer with her husband Denis, her 3 cats: Lucy, Ray, and Saffy; and her dog, Maebe.  Jillian is passionate about cats and preventative health.

Iana Ivanchenko - Professional Groomer
Iana has been grooming for many years and is a natural when it comes to making your pet  look great.  She grooms part-time at PVH  while attending college.   Iana immigrated from  Ukraine  with her husband Vitali and has made Sylvan Lake and Canada their home.  Iana enjoys skiing in the mountains, travelling, exploring, and spending time with her new friends.

Melissa Pretty - Professional Groomer
Melissa joined our team in 2018.  She is a Professional Dog Groomer with over 17 years experience.  Melissa completed her dog grooming course with honours in 2003 and has been grooming ever since.  She has a lot of patience and loves to take the time it needs to make your pet beautiful.  In her spare time, Melissa has a passion for fly fishing, camping, hiking and spending time with her family outdoors.

Jenn Blundell - Casual Reception
It takes a lot of people to run a successful, efficient clinic.  One of our other valued employees is Jenn.  When she's not helping our clients in the clinic, she operates a busy dog walking business in Sylvan Lake.

 COREY STAN
 Corey graduated from Olds College in March 2020 with her VMR certificate.  She did her practicum at PVH and was later hired on as a part time receptionist.  Corey currently lives in Red Deer with her family and two dogs Rocko and Sparky.  She enjoys spending time with family and walking her dogs.
